This antique Brojol Upih keris dates from the Mataram Tuban Abad XVII-era (17th century).
 
The wilah (blade) is forged with a striking and antique version of pamor Udan Mas.
 
Pamor Udan Mas is one of the legendary pamor motifs that is very famous in the keris world. This pamor is often seen as the 'sugih' pamor whose luck can keep the owner "overloaded" with heavy food. Javanese call them 'kuwat kebandan' (rich talent). Because of this belief, many people especially those who work as merchants and businessmen want a keris with Udan Mas pamor. Apart from the esoteric factor, from the technical side, forging this pamor is very difficult and expensive, which makes the value of pamor udan mas the highest compared to other circular pamor motifs (bonang senenteng, sekar kopi, melati sinebar, etc.
 
Udan = rain, Mas = gold, literally means 'rain of gold', as a symbol of wealth, prosperity and high morals. The meaning is 'sabda dadi', which means to hope that all desires that come from a clear heart or soul will come true.
 
In addition to the rare pamor, the wilah is forged to Brojol dapur (shape). The philosophy of the dapur Brojol kris, just like a newborn baby, has nothing but to surrender to its mother, so we surrender to the spiritual power of the almighty. In fact, with that birth we are reminded of our origins. Dhapur Brojol can also be interpreted as an embodiment of the human desire to always be able to smooth everything out in terms of solving life difficulties. Although Brojol is a fairly simple form, its power is complex. It gives the owner strength to live his life in a pure, peaceful and tranquil way. By living this way, the owners will be protected and impervious to stress and distractions, allowing them to achieve their goals in life in a more targeted manner. What is certain is the same as with humans, in this world there will never be a keris that is exactly the same. It is possible that the two kerisses have the same shape, but still have differences in the pamor motif (this is influenced by the forging process).
 
The top of the keris is adorned with an antique Solo Nunggak semi hilt with deeply carved patra-patra’s (masks).
 
The keris is housed in a Solo Ladrang  warangka of the striking Cendana wood. In Indonesia, it is believed that this wood can strengthen the isi of strong keris and ward off evil jinn and black magic.
 
A gold plated, Karawang pendok, set with zirconias covers the gandar.

De wilah (lemmet) is gesmeed met een opvallende en antieke versie van pamor Udan Mas.
 
Pamor Udan Mas is een van de legendarische pamormotieven die erg beroemd is in de keriswereld. Deze pamor wordt vaak gezien als de 'sugih' pamor wiens geluk de eigenaar 'overladen' kan houden met zwaar voedsel. Javanen noemen ze 'kuwat kebandan' (rijk talent). Vanwege dit geloof willen veel mensen, vooral zij die als handelaar of zakenman werken, een keris met Udan Mas pamor. Afgezien van de esoterische factor, is het smeden van deze pamor vanuit de technische kant erg moeilijk en duur, wat de waarde van pamor udan mas het hoogst maakt in vergelijking met andere cirkelvormige pamormotieven (bonang senenteng, sekar kopi, melati sinebar, enz.
 
Udan = regen, Mas = goud, betekent letterlijk 'regen van goud', als symbool van rijkdom, welvaart en hoge moraal. De betekenis is 'sabda dadi', wat betekent hopen dat alle verlangens die uit een helder hart of ziel komen, uitkomen.
 
Naast de zeldzame pamor is de wilah gesmeed tot Brojol dapur (vorm). De filosofie van de dapur Brojol kris, net als een pasgeboren baby, heeft niets anders dan zich over te geven aan zijn moeder, dus geven we ons over aan de spirituele kracht van de almachtige. In feite worden we met die geboorte herinnerd aan onze oorsprong. Dhapur Brojol kan ook worden geïnterpreteerd als een belichaming van het menselijke verlangen om altijd alles glad te strijken in termen van het oplossen van levensproblemen. Hoewel Brojol een vrij eenvoudige vorm is, is de kracht ervan complex. Het geeft de eigenaar de kracht om zijn leven op een pure, vredige en rustige manier te leven. Door op deze manier te leven, worden de eigenaren beschermd en ongevoelig voor stress en afleidingen, waardoor ze hun doelen in het leven op een meer gerichte manier kunnen bereiken. Wat zeker is, is dat hetzelfde geldt voor mensen, in deze wereld zal er nooit een keris zijn die precies hetzelfde is. Het is mogelijk dat de twee kerissen dezelfde vorm hebben, maar toch verschillen in het pamormotief (dit wordt beïnvloed door het smeedproces).
 
Op de bovenzijde prijkt een antieke Solo Nunggak semi-greep met diep gesneden patra-patra's (maskers).
 
De keris huist in een Solo Ladrang warangka van het opvallende Cendana-hout. In Indonesië wordt aangenomen dat dit hout de isi van sterke keris kan versterken en kwade djinn en zwarte magie kan afweren.
 
Een vergulde Karawang pendok, bezet met zirkonia's, bedekt de gandar.
