The story (provenance) of this keris is as special as the keris itself. I was able to acquire this keris from a friend in Bali. At first, I was a bit hesitant to acquire this small but spiritually very strong keris because of the pamor motif Buntel Mayit. In Java we all know the stories that this pamor is related to a shroud. My Balinese relation had a good laugh about this. For the people of Bali and Lombok, this pamor is the most sought after and popular, as it is believed that it can bring all happiness to man, namely self-confidence and steadfastness, as well as authority and courage. On these islands known for their slogan as Bumi Gogo Rancah, Buntel Mait is considered a mine pamor. According to a source in Lombok, the term Badung Mining has something to do with a kingdom in the Bali region in the past, namely the Badung Kingdom. And the Badung mine indeed has a meaning: there is a link (connection) between the Badung kingdom and the kingdom on Lombok.
Philosophy: winding like thread or cloth from the sor-soran (bottom) to the top) illustrates: 'nothing is instant in life, everything needs a process'. That a person, to achieve his goals (perfection) in life, has to make a winding, uphill and twisting journey, like circling a mountain to reach the beauty of the sun at the top. A spiritual journey to reach Manunggaling Kawula Gusti stage. This pamor will also always remind its owner that there is a problem in life that entangles our steps, requiring anticipation and immediate resolution. Likewise, when it comes to work, don't waste time (discipline).

My meditations with this keris confirmed the explanation of my Balinese friend. The ISI is powerful, meditatively strong and communicates easily. I would be happy to tell you all about this upon request.
 
The fact that this keris is also a Patrem keris makes it even more special as these kerisses are not common in Bali.
 
Furthermore, the wilah is forged after the rare Pasupati dapur. A pasopati keris reminds us to always be optimistic. Being optimistic doesn't mean expecting everything to go smoothly. But being optimistic means expecting the best, being confident that the best will happen, provided one uses all the capabilities one possesses... sweat and drops of blood until something one dreams of happens.

Zeldzame Bali Pasupati Patrem kris, keris – Wilah met prachtig gesmeed Gubet Buntel Mayit pamor met een ster – Pasupati dapur – Bali Cekah Redut greep van hoorn – Beblatungan warangka van hoorn.
 
Het verhaal (provenance) van deze keris is even bijzonder als de keris zelf. Ik heb deze keris mogen overnemen van een bevriende relatie op Bali. In eerste instantie was ik wat huiverig om deze kleine maar spiritueel zeer sterke keris over te nemen vanwege het pamor-motief Buntel Mayit. Op Java kennen wij allen de verhalen dat deze pamor in relatie staat tot een lijkwade. Mijn Balinese relatie moest hier hartelijk om lachen. Voor de mensen van Bali en Lombok is dit pamor het meest gewild en populair, omdat wordt aangenomen dat het de mens alle geluk kan brengen, namelijk zelfvertrouwen en standvastigheid, evenals autoriteit en moed. Op deze eilanden dat bekend staan om hun slogan als Bumi Gogo Rancah, wordt Buntel Mait beschouwd als een mijn pamor. Volgens een bron op Lombok heeft de term Badung Mining iets te maken met een koninkrijk in de regio Bali in het verleden, namelijk het Badung-koninkrijk. En de Badung-mijn heeft inderdaad een betekenis: er is een link (verbinding) tussen het Badung-koninkrijk en het koninkrijk op Lombok.
Filosofie: het wikkelen als draad of stof van de sor-soran (onderkant) naar de bovenkant) illustreert: 'niets is instant in het leven, alles heeft een proces nodig'. Dat een persoon, om zijn doelen (perfectie) in het leven te bereiken, een kronkelende, bergopwaartse en draaiende reis moet maken, zoals het omcirkelen van een berg om de schoonheid van de zon op de top te bereiken. Een spirituele reis om het Manunggaling Kawula Gusti-stadium te bereiken. Dit pamor zal de eigenaar er ook altijd aan herinneren dat er een probleem in het leven is dat onze stappen verstrikt, anticipatie en onmiddellijke oplossing vereist. Evenzo, als het om werk gaat, verspil geen tijd (discipline).

Mijn meditaties met deze keris bevestigde de uitleg van mijn Balinese relatie. De isi is krachtig, meditatief sterk en communiceert makkelijk. Op verzoek vertel ik u graag hier alles over.
 
Dat deze keris ook nog eens een Patrem keris is maakt het nog bijzonderder daar deze kerissen niet veel voorkomen.
 
Verder is de wilah gesmeed naar het zeldzame Pasupati dapur. Een pasopati keris herinnert ons eraan dat we altijd optimistisch moeten zijn. Optimistisch zijn betekent niet dat je verwacht dat alles vanzelf gaat. Maar optimistisch zijn betekent het beste verwachten, er zeker van zijn dat het beste zal gebeuren, op voorwaarde dat men alle capaciteiten benut die men bezit... zweet en bloeddruppels totdat iets waarvan men droomt, gebeurt.
