This rare Lombok Ron Pring Tombak dates from the Lombok Abad XVII era (17th century).
The housing of this ancient Tombak is truly unique. The handle is made of solid copper and the warangka (sheath) of copper that is trimmed with antique wood.
I was able to take over this rare Tombak from an old gentleman who lives on Lombok. He told me that this Tombak was once owned by a high-ranking priest, which also explains the high spiritual power of this old Tombak.
The wilah is forged to Ron Pring dapur (shape) and Sumur Bandung pamor. Pamor Sumur Bandung is also called pamor Pusar Bumi. Pamor Sumur Bandung in the form of pamor Tiban has rather irregular pamorless surfaces, which look quite natural. In contrast, in pamor Sumur Bandung in the form of pamor Rekan, the pattern of the image is planned by the empu. It therefore looks more orderly. Pamor Sumur Bandung, allows its possessor to easily gain knowledge of invulnerability and supernatural ability. Also, it possesses powers to make the possessor of this pamor motif easily earn a living.
It is believed that Tombaks have greater spiritual powers than kerises because they get their powers from the universe, while kerises get their spiritual powers from Earth.

Deze zeldzame Lombok Ron Pring Tombak dateert van de Lombok Abad XVII-era (17de eeuw).
De behuizing van deze oeroude Tombak is werkelijk uniek. De greep is van massief koper en de warangka (schede) van koper dat afgezet is met antiek hout.
Ik heb deze zeldzame Tombak mogen overnemen van een oudeheer die op Lombok woont. Hij vertelde mij dat deze Tombak ooit eigendom was van een hooggeplaatste priester wat ook de bijzondere spirituele kracht van deze oude Tombak verklaart.
De wilah is gesmeed naar Ron Pring dapur (vorm) en Sumur Bandung pamor. Pamor Sumur Bandung wordt ook wel pamor Pusar Bumi genoemd. Pamor Sumur Bandung in de vorm van pamor Tiban heeft nogal onregelmatige pamorloze vlakken, die er vrij natuurlijk uitzien. Bij pamor Sumur Bandung in de vorm van pamor Rekan daarentegen is het patroon van de afbeelding door de empu gepland. Het ziet er dan ook meer geordend uit. Pamor Sumur Bandung, maakt het de bezitter mogelijk om gemakkelijk kennis betreffende onkwetsbaarheid en bovennatuurlijk vermogen te vergaren. Ook bezit het krachten om de bezitter van dit pamor-motief gemakkelijk de kost te laten verdienen.
