This Antique Pasopati Keris is a masterpiece of 18th-century craftsmanship, originating from the Kartasura Abad XVIII-era (18th centurI). A true collector's piece, it embodies the refined aesthetic and spiritual depth of Central Javanese heritage.
The Wilah (Blade)
The blade features the iconic Pasopati dhapur, characterized by its straight, elegant form (Lurus) and distinct features like the sogokan and tikel alis. It is forged with a deep black Kelengan pamor. Unlike flashy patterns, Kelengan focuses on the absolute purity of the iron and the skill of the smith's forging technique. This deep, "pitch-black" finish is highly sought after by connoisseurs for its understated power and minimalist beauty.
In Javanese tradition, the Pasopati dhapur is legendary, named after the arrow of Arjuna. It is considered a leadership keris, believed to provide the following "Tua" or spiritual virtues to its keeper:

Deze antieke Pasopati keris is een meesterwerk van 18e-eeuws vakmanschap, afkomstig uit de Kartasura Abad XVIII (18e eeuw). Een echt verzamelobject, dat de verfijnde esthetiek en spirituele diepte van het Midden-Javaanse erfgoed belichaamt.
De Wilah (het lemmet)
De wilah is gesmeden naar de iconische Pasopati dhapur, gekenmerkt door zijn rechte, elegante vorm (Lurus) en onderscheidende kenmerken zoals de sogokan en tikel alis. Het is gesmeed met een diepzwart Kelengan pamor. In tegenstelling tot opvallende pamors, richt Kelengan zich op de absolute zuiverheid van het ijzer en de vaardigheid van de smid in zijn smeedtechniek.
