This antique Lombok Kebo Teki keris dates from the Lombok Abad VI era (16th century).
 
The keris comes from the north of Lombok. The considerable age and origin of this keris can be traced back to the length of the wilah. Very old keris from Lombok and Bali have a shorter wilah than the more recent ones.
 
I had the ancient wilah professionally and ritually washed in Bali in warangan, so that the snow-white pamor contrasts beautifully against the jet-black wilah.
 
The wilah is forged with the rare dapur (shape) Kebo Teki with 9 luk. What makes this dapur rare is the long gandhik. The length of this keris is normal; the wilah (blade) is flat and wider than other keris. The gandik which is about 2 to 2.5 times the length of a normal keris, the pejetan is shallow. In ancient times, the keris with the Kebo Teki dhapur was widely owned by farmers and merchants of agricultural products as they believed Kebo Teki brought good luck, warded off negative spirits and persons and other mischief. In addition, these magical properties fuel the owner's imagination, entrepreneurial spirit and motivation that will make his business or career flourish. This power also radiates through to the owner's family which will make his family excel in studies as well as be successful in life. Spiritually, Kebo/Kerbau is often seen as a Pan-headed figure. As a guide, Kebo/Buffalo is assumed to have a strong and large physique, hardworking, loyal and patient. Moreover, ancient people have inherited local wisdom and ancestral traditions in the agricultural sector that see Kebo/Buffel as "Rojokoyo" which means "Rojo" which means king and "Koyo" means empire.
 
In addition to the rare dapur, the keris is forged with the equally rare pamor Sisik Sewu. The pamor motif Sisik Sewu possesses spiritual powers that bring good luck to the owner of the keris. It increases the owner's natural authority in a positive interpersonal sense. In addition, it ensures that the owner becomes popular in both private and business circles. Pamor Sisik Sewu is therefore very suitable for entrepreneurs, managers and other executives. This pamor motif is classified in the element of water according to the 5 elements of Shiva. Water is the element of emotion and wisdom, especially the wisdom of age. It represents a time past the pinnacle of livelihood, toward the end of the cycle.
 
The keris is housed in a Batun Poh warangka of the noble Pelet Nyamel wood. At the base of the gandar is a silver ornament with deeply embossed motifs and a large ruby ​​at the front.
 
A matching Bebondolan handle adorns the top of the keris. The wewer is authentic. On request I can replace it with another copy.

Deze antieke Lombok Kebo Teki keris dateert van de Lobok Abad VI-era (16de eeuw).
 
De keris is afkomstig uit het noorden van Lombok. De aanzienlijke leeftijd en herkomst van deze keris is herleidbaar aan de lengte van de wilah. Zeer oude kerissen van Lombok en Bali hebben namelijk een kortere wilah als de exemplaren van recentere datum.
 
Ik heb de oeroude wilah professioneel en ritueel op Bali laten wassen in warangan waardoor het spierwitte pamor prachtig afsteekt tegen de gitzwarte wilah.
 
De wilah is gesmeed met het zeldzame dapur (vorm) Kebo Teki met 9 luk. Wat dit dapur zeldzaam maakt is de lange gandhik. De lengte van deze keris is normaal; de wilah (kling) is vlak en breder dan andere kerissen. De gandik die ongeveer 2 tot 2,5 keer de lengte is van een normale keris, de pejetan is ondiep.  In de oudheid was de keris met de Kebo Teki dhapur op grote schaal eigendom van boeren en handelaren in landbouwproducten, omdat ze geloofden Kebo Teki geluk bracht, negatieve geesten en personen en andere onheil afweerden. Daarnaast voeden deze magische eigenschappen de fantasie, ondernemingsgeest en motivatie van de eigenaar waardoor zijn onderneming of carrière zal floreren.  Deze kracht straalt ook door naar het gezin van de eigenaar waardoor zijn familie zal excelleren in studies evenals succesvol zal zijn in het leven. Spiritueel wordt Kebo / Kerbau vaak gezien als een Pan-geleide figuur. Als gids wordt ervan uitgegaan dat Kebo / Buffalo een sterke en grote lichaamsbouw heeft, hard werkt, loyaal en geduldig is. De keris huist in een Batun Poh warangka van het edele Pelet Nyamel hout. Aan de basis van de gandar is een zilveren sierstuk te bewonderen met diep gedreven motieven en een grote robijn aan de voorzijde.
 
Een passende Bebondolan greep siert de bovenzijde van de keris. De wewer is authentiek. Op verzoek kan ik deze vervangen door een ander exepmplaar.
