This antique Indonesian Chakra Pataka – Tombak dates from the Cirebon abad XIX (18th century).
A Pataka is a kind of military flag or banner that was usually used in war to determine the gathering point of troops and mark the location of warlords.
The wilah (blade) of this Pataka is forged with the rare and difficult to forge pamor Untu Walang. Pamor Untu Walang literally the tooth of a grasshopper (walang). It is one of the pamor motifs whose shape resembles the pamor of Tepen or Wengkon. The difference is: that pamor wengkon has a straight or slightly wavy frame along the edge of the wilah form while in pamor untu walang the edges are consistently wavy, forming a saw blade-like image. This pamor motif is classified as votive, not everyone will be fit to own it. By some keris enthusiasts, this the power of this pamor is perceived as a bringer of good luck. It makes the owner a trusted, elder and leader. Its words will be heard and obeyed. Therefore, it is excellent for managers, entrepreneurs and executives. In history, a keris with this pamor was exclusively reserved for dignitaries.
At the base of the wilah (blade) the sign of the heart chakra can be admired. The heart chakra is situated in the centre of the chest at the height of the thymus gland (behind the sternum). In Sanskrit this chakra is called Anahata, meaning ‘infinite’, ‘unhurt’ or ‘boundless’. The heart is the bridge between the lower triangle (the root, sacral and solar plexus chakras) and the upper triangle (throat, third eye and crown chakras). The powers of the heart chakra are:

Deze antieke Indonesische Chakra Pataka - Tombak dateert uit de Cirebon abad XIX (18e eeuw).
Een Pataka is een soort militaire vlag of banier die meestal in de oorlog werd gebruikt om het verzamelpunt van troepen te bepalen en de locatie van krijgsheren te markeren.
De wilah (kling) van deze Pataka is gesmeed met de zeldzame en moeilijk te smeden Pamor Untu Walang. Pamor Untu Walang is letterlijk de tand van een sprinkhaan (walang). Het is een van de pamor motieven waarvan de vorm lijkt op de pamor van Tepen of Wengkon. Het verschil is: dat pamor wengkon een recht of licht golvend kader heeft langs de rand van de wilah vorm, terwijl in pamor untu walang de randen consequent golvend zijn, waardoor een zaagblad-achtig beeld ontstaat. Dit pamor motief is geclassificeerd als votief, niet iedereen zal geschikt zijn om het te bezitten. Door sommige keris-enthousiastelingen wordt de kracht van deze pamor gezien als geluksbrenger. Het maakt de eigenaar tot een vertrouwde, oudere en leider. Zijn woorden zullen worden gehoord en gehoorzaamd. Daarom is hij uitstekend geschikt voor managers, ondernemers en leidinggevenden. In het verleden was een keris met deze pamor uitsluitend gereserveerd voor hoogwaardigheidsbekleders.
Aan de basis van de wilah (blad) is het teken van de hartchakra te bewonderen. Het hartchakra bevindt zich in het midden van de borst ter hoogte van de thymusklier (achter het borstbeen). In het Sanskriet wordt dit chakra Anahata genoemd, wat 'oneindig', 'ongedeerd' of 'grenzeloos' betekent. Het hart is de brug tussen de onderste driehoek (de wortel-, heiligbeen- en zonnevlechtchakra's) en de bovenste driehoek (keel-, derdeoog- en kruinchakra's). De krachten van het hartchakra zijn:
