This antique and magnificent Brojol Dadung Muntir keris dates from the Madura Sepuh, Empu Koso Abad XV-era (15th century).
 
I had the wilah ritually and professionally treated with warangan in Indonesia. The two rare and near white pamors now contrast beautifully against the jet-black background of the wilah (blade).
 
The wilah is forged with two rare pamors. Pamor Nunggak semi adorns the base of the blade and continues into pamor Dadung Muntir which follows the total length of the wilah.
 
Pamor Nunggak semi is mostly located on the Sor-Soran of a keris. It amplifies the spiritual and magical powers of the another pamor that exists on the Keris. It is sought after by traders because it is believed that it has the magic power to help them in their dealings.
 
Pamor Dadung Muntir contains magical and spiritual powers, which enlarged the position and status of the owner. It increases the courage, confidence and determination of the owner.
 
The top of the keris is adorned with a rare Lempuyangan hilt, set on a striking  Mrutu Sewu selut.
 
The keris is housed in a Solo Gayaman warangka of rare Timoho wood. Brown flames cross the ocher colored background of the warangka.
 
A two-piece Solo Slorok pendok with elaborate Naga decoration covers the gandar.

Deze antieke en prachtige Brojol Dadung Muntir keris dateert uit het Madura Sepuh, Empu Koso Abad XV-tijdperk (15e eeuw).
 
Ik heb de wilah ritueel en professioneel laten behandelen met warangan in Indonesië. De twee zeldzame en bijna witte pamors contrasteren nu prachtig tegen de gitzwarte achtergrond van de wilah (kling).
 
De wilah is gesmeed met twee zeldzame pamors. Pamor Nunggak semi siert de basis van de wilah en loopt door in pamor Dadung Muntir die de totale lengte van de wilah volgt.
 
Pamor Nunggak semi bevindt zich meestal op de Sor-Soran van een keris. Het versterkt de spirituele en magische krachten van de andere pamor die op de Keris is gesmeed. Het is gewild bij handelaren omdat men gelooft dat het de magische kracht heeft om hen te helpen bij hun transacties.
 
Pamor Dadung Muntir bezit magische en spirituele krachten, die de positie en status van de eigenaar vergroten. Het vergroot de moed, het vertrouwen en de vastberadenheid van de eigenaar.
 
Op de bovenzijde prijkt een zeldzame Lempuyangan greep, geplaatst op een opvallende Mrutu Sewu selut.
 
De keris is huist in een Solo Gayaman warangka van zeldzaam Timoho-hout. Bruine vlammen kruisen de okerkleurige achtergrond van de warangka.
 
Een tweedelige Solo Slorok-pendok met Naga-versiering bedekt de gandar.
 
De Isi van deze oude keris is sterk, levend en communicatief. De Isi biedt een warm dekengevoel.
